Lisa + Aaron // Engaged

posted by Daniel & Lauren

We are in the business of making friends. At least that’s what it feels like.

We knew right away we wanted to book Lisa and Aaron’s wedding. But more importantly, we wanted to get to know these two creative people. So we packed up the car and headed to Chicago for an engagement session.

We were greeted with snacks and champagne. We were sent off with tacos and margaritas.

Lisa and Aaron are some of the most generous and genuine people we have ever met and we are so looking forward to celebrating their day with them.

Desmond + Jennifer // Married

Sometimes I wonder why I was given such great opportunities. Yes, hard work, research, discipline and practice make one a better photographer. But I’m not talking about photo ops. What I want to know is how I have been so blessed to meet and work with such awesome people.

When I got to the tiny island of Captiva, Fla., it wasn’t long before I was handed a margarita and greeted with hugs.

“We are so happy you’re here.”

“Can I get you anything?”

“Are you having a good time?”

Of course I had a good time: sandy beaches, palm trees, birds, sea shells, sunshine, margaritas, ocean breeze, warm salty air,  bioluminescent dinofallegates.

The truth is I could have an amazing time with this group of people in cold, blustery Nebraska. Warm smiles, genuine character and open arms are paradise wherever you are.

Thank you, Desmond and Jennifer, Mr. and Mrs. Martindale, and Mr. and Mrs. LaVelle. You and your families are most beautiful and this was an experience I’ll never forget.

Adam & Erica /// Engaged

This is going to be a good year, I can feel it. We have been blessed with uncharacteristically warm weather, exciting new projects, amazing clients and we are still in January. Speaking of rad clients, meet Adam and Erica. Young, hip and totally in love. We are excited for their summer wedding, but more excited to get to know these two and call them friends.

Ready or Knot {Wedding Chic}

We love weddings, I think we have mentioned that before. We’ve met some amazing people since we launched the Mullers–engaged couples, their families, florists, caterers, photographers and other vendors. Ready or Knot is one of our newest friends. We love working with them and we can’t wait for our future projects together!
